Try doing what Overdog said, but instead of enabling it, set it on prompt so it will ask you to accept the resource pack when you join.

This requires you to have to reinstall server texture packs when asked, so I recommend if you have a lot of servers you play on that use a server resource pack to try a different method. To solve this I would try going to the server resource pack files. You can get here by pressing the windows key and R at the same time. In the bottom left a program called "Run" should pop up.
If you clear this folder it will remove all server texture packs from your Minecraft clients knowledge, when you try to play clans again if you have your server resource packs set to "prompt" then you should be asked to install the texture pack.
